Anusol Suppositories are medicated rectal suppositories containing zinc oxide, bismuth oxide, bismuth subgallate and balsam Peru. These ingredients work together to reduce inflammation, soothe irritation and promote healing of anal tissues. The suppositories are used to relieve discomfort associated with haemorrhoids, anal fissures and other minor anorectal conditions.
Who is it for
These suppositories are intended for adults and adolescents who need relief from piles and other anal discomfort. They are not suitable for children under 12 unless advised by a doctor. People with severe rectal bleeding, ulceration or known allergies to any ingredient should not use them. Pregnant or breastfeeding women and those with underlying medical conditions should consult a healthcare professional before use.
Dosage
Insert one suppository into the rectum in the morning and evening and after each bowel movement, or as directed by your doctor. Do not exceed the recommended dose and avoid using more than two or three suppositories in 24 hours. Always wash hands before and after administration.
