Who is it for
This medicine is for adults with hypertension or at high cardiovascular risk who need an angiotensin II receptor blocker. It is not usually given to children. Do not take if you are allergic to telmisartan, if you have severe liver or kidney impairment or biliary obstruction. Women must not use telmisartan during pregnancy because it can harm the unborn baby; breastfeeding women should seek medical advice. Dosage
